Agreement

By using MESS (the service at mess.fyi) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

What MESS is

MESS is a tool for building a searchable index of the accounts you have across SaaS products. You ramble about your accounts; we label each one and store the result for you.

Your account

  • You must be 13 or older
  • Give us a working email; keep your login secure
  • You're responsible for what happens under your account
  • Tell us if you notice unauthorized access

What you can't do

  • Break the law with it
  • Abuse or reverse-engineer the service
  • Try to get unauthorized access to other accounts
  • Upload malicious content
  • Use automated scripts to scrape or hammer the service

Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel
  • You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues through the end of the current period
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law
  • We may adjust pricing; we'll give notice before it affects you
  • Taxes are your responsibility where they apply

Your data

You own what you put into MESS. By using the service, you grant us a license to store and process it for the sole purpose of providing the product to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.

We take reasonable steps to protect your data but we are not responsible for loss. Please keep your own backup of anything irreplaceable.

Service availability

The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service, or remain inactive for a long time. You can close your account anytime by emailing us.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
