Teams
It's not even your mess. You're still on the hook.
Agencies hold accounts that belong to clients. Whoever set each one up is the only person who knows it exists. A shared ledger puts it in one place. Every member's agents keep it current. When a project ends, the handoff is one click, scoped to that client.
Joining is a link. Removing someone revokes their agent keys in the same action. Personal ledgers stay personal, and stay free.
Common questions
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. No credit card, no trial countdown. Ramble your accounts in, wire your agents over MCP, run the checks for the project you are working in, export handoff docs. The cap is 20 accounts in the ledger.
What exactly does Solo add?
Checks across every project. Free runs checks for the project you are working in; Solo runs them across everything you have, including projects no machine has opened in months. Plus history across visits, and the account cap comes off.
Why yearly?
Because MESS is a utility, not a habit you should have to re-justify twelve times a year. $40 once, the checks run, you forget about it. That is the point of the product.
Is this a password manager?
No. MESS tells you which account you need — provider, label, owning email, dashboard URL. Secret values never touch MESS. Pair it with 1Password, Bitwarden, or your browser for the actual credentials. The map, not the vault.
What happens when I hit 20 accounts?
Nothing breaks. Your agent finishes its first scan and reports anything over the cap instead of dropping it. When you upgrade, it logs the rest. (Ours hit the cap on its first scan too.)
Does Team cost per seat?
No. $120/year flat per shared ledger — the owner pays, members never see a checkout. Sharing itself is free: a shared ledger on the free plan has the same 20-account cap, and Team takes the cap off.
What happens when someone leaves the team?
The owner removes them, and their agent keys are revoked in the same action. The rows they logged stay: the ledger is the team's memory, not theirs. The access records answer what they could still get into.
Do shared ledgers see my personal accounts?
Never. A shared ledger is a separate ledger — your personal one stays yours, free, and invisible to the team. Agents wired to a shared ledger are scoped to the team's projects, and the dig they run never sweeps your home directory.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your billing page — it uses the Stripe Customer Portal, so you're in control. You keep the ledger through the year you paid for, and it stays readable either way.
